The project

School administration is full of connected details. A student record, a monthly fee, a collection, and a receipt all need to tell the same story. HISABEDU brings that daily work into a shared workspace.

The challenge.

Scattered lists make it difficult to follow student information, outstanding dues, and payment histories. The challenge was to make these connected tasks understandable for the people doing the work.

The contribution.

As founder and main developer, Ibrahim Khan Sajid built the product around student records, class information, monthly and extra fees, collections, receipts, and reports. English and Bangla support is part of that everyday experience.

A closer look

How the work connects.

  1. 01

    Start with the student.

Keep the student record, class, and enrollment together, with fee and payment actions close at hand.

  2. 02

    Add the right charge.

Set a fee type, amount, and due date. The fee drawer above shows a sample midterm exam charge.

  3. 03

    Follow the money.

Connect collections, receipts, and reports to the same administrative workflow.

From daily actions to a wider view.

A separate finance view brings recorded collections, expenses, and cash flow together. Shown here with synthetic test amounts.

Decisions that
shape the experience.

Keep charges and collections distinct.

What is owed and what has been collected answer different questions. Student fees, payments, and receipts need clear places in the interface.

Make the numbers understandable.

The finance view separates money in, money out, and net cash flow. It explains that cash flow is different from profit or cash available.

What it brings
together.

  • Student and class records
  • Monthly and additional fees
  • Dues and collection tracking
  • Receipts and reports
  • English and Bangla interfaces
  • A shared administrative workspace
